Yin / Slow Vinyasa
Celebrate the Spring Equinox & the beginning of the Astrological Year with this awakening practice!
Begin with Yin Yoga, a practice of holding poses for 1-6 minutes at 70% stretch that targets the connective tissues.
Awaken the body with a slow vinyasa practice that will help you tap into your intuition and find a mind/body connection through slow, controlled movements. Build strength and find many variations and modifications to help you develop a personal practice. Explore variations of sun salutations, play with standing postures and experience a cool down that will help you connect to yourself through meditation.
What to bring:
A yoga mat (we have 3 available if you don’t have one), water bottle, comfortably clothing for free movement, socks & layers suggested, compassion for yourself.
We ask that you remove your shoes at the entrance and turn off your cell phone (or airplane mode) in order for everyone to experience a mindful practice.
